Egypt is coming back in big way following the spectacular April 3rd Pharaoh’s Golden Parade of Mummies. If you missed it, catch the highlights here. Our certified Egyptologist guide is fully booked through the fall, which is an excellent sign that travelers are ready.
Egypt is personally my most anticipated SheFari of the year…and with good reason. The countless conversations I’ve had with our partners have built up my excitement for all the cool things we’re going to do: getting to know inspiring goddesses, special sunset rides at the pyramids, shopping the bazaars for papyrus and essential oils, and personalized hieroglyphics on gold jewelry. But my favorite part? Learning about Queen Hatshepsut, the first all-powerful female pharaoh who thought outside the box and ruled with conviction. Her male successors tried to erase her memory from history, but as Cornell University anthropologist Meredith Small said, “In ancient Egypt, just like today, you simply can’t keep a good woman down.”

What’s the COVID & general cancellation policy?
It’s critical to us that you and your clients feel confident and secure. Should any travel bans/COVID-19 restrictions affect travel prior to departure, client will be given a refund and the $500 deposit can be used for any future booking. (We would greatly appreciate the deposit be used for another trip, but if client insists, we can provide a full refund.) You can read more about what conditions qualify for trip cancellation and which are deemed standard COVID-19 travel protocol on our general Terms & Conditions here. As all SheFaris also run a minimum number of attendees, please ensure the trip is confirmed before booking nonrefundable airfare. We strongly encourage travel and medical insurance as well.
How do I book?
You or your client can book directly via the special offer link, either on a full payment or simply the $500 deposit. The only additional requirement is a standard travel visa for Americans which can be easily obtained at the Cairo Airport upon arrival. (We can provide more info and guidance on this.)
Like all SheFaris, the trip has been created through a uniquely female lens within an intimate small-group experience. There is a lot of interest for our Fall SheFaris and spots are limited. This would make the perfect “mummy” – daughter trip! (I had to.) Run, don’t “walklike an Egyptian” to book. (OK, I’m done.) 😊
